Why use a social media calendar? (Free resource)

by | 2015-11-12 | Interactive, Marketing

Some of the things we hear from other small businesses:

“I don’t have time for social media.”

“I set up a Twitter account and Facebook page, but I never know what to post.”

“I know I should put my business on social media, but I’m not sure where to begin.”

By creating a social media calendar, you can create a strategic plan for your social accounts, ensuring you have interesting and varied content to engage your followers on each platform. You can then delegate content creation, and schedule posts to make updating quick and easy!

We use a spreadsheet to organize our social media posts with Google Documents to keep things collaborative. We’ve created a downloadable version for you to use, available as a free download to our newsletter subscribers. You can type directly in the PDF and save it, or print it to complete by hand. You can also use the downloadable calendar as a starting point to creating your own system that works for you. We hope this calendar gives your business or organization a place to start for social media success!
