Chestnut St. Pixel Foundry began in 2009, with a mission to forge only the finest pixels from the raw material of creative inspiration.
Salutations! We’re a branding and digital strategy studio located at the edge of historic Gastown in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Founding partners Kelly Chen and Megan Seely met and graduated from the renowned illustration and graphic design program (IDEA) at Capilano University. After working in advertising agencies and design studios large and small for two years post-art school, Kelly and Megan decided to venture out on their own.

Kelly Chen started her career working primarily on website design and front-end development. A self-taught coder, she built her first website in Geocities and remembers the days of frames and animated text quite clearly. Nowadays, she has stepped back from web development, focusing more on web design and usability – as well as branding and print work. When not glued to a screen, Kelly enjoys lettering, a good book, trying new foods, and exploring different corners of the world.
Megan Seely has worked on projects in the retail, food & beverage, restaurant, financial, and non-profit sectors. She is also an experienced web programmer, having created her first hand-coded website on Geocities in 1997. When not in front of a computer screen, she can be found exploring nature, taking photographs, and experimenting with vegan/vegetarian recipes in the kitchen.
