Holiday Giving for 2021

It’s that special time of year to show how much we care for our friends and loved ones. If you have the means, please also consider showing some love and support to your local organizations doing important work.
Here are some local non-profits to consider supporting this holiday season:

Food banks are an important resource for our communities, especially during the holidays. Please consider donating a few dollars or some non-perishable foods. They are currently most in need of pasta, low-sodium canned salmon, and diapers (sizes 4-6).

Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre
The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC) provides a safe, supportive space for women, and are currently in need of extra funds for their meal program – just $5 can make a big impact.

Vancouver Chinatown Foundation
The Vancouver Chinatown Foundation’s mission is to revitalize Chinatown. Your donation will support their mission of building a more resilient and inclusive community. You can also support their mission by visiting the Chinatown Vintage store located at 131 E Pender.
While these are three non-profit organizations we support, they are by no means the only ones who need financial support this season.
Especially in light of this pandemic and the climate emergencies we’ve had throughout British Columbia this year, please also consider supporting flood and fire victims.
